More info

Citrus mitis is a hybrid between mandarin and kumquat and belongs to the Rutaceae family. It is refreshing, it has white and small flowers, with intense and delicate scent, from the first true to the late fall. The fruits are small, spherical, with sweet, thin and intense orange peel, with a sour pulp and few seeds. It is a pretty rustic plant, very resistant to cold.Interesting feature that distinguishes it from all other citrus fruits is that it has a good dry-heat resistance to the apartment and is therefore a highly-used species for ornamental purposes. The fruit persists long over the plant even after ripening, and is particularly required as an in-plant plant during the Christmas holidays.
