Radermachera, the emerald of the east!

The Radermachera is an indoor bonsai, coming from the east and specifically from China and Taiwan. Its wavy leaves give it an appearance similar to that of the coffee plant but the high roots in the "neagari" style make it extremely decorative. In nature it grows a lot, reaching up to 30 meters in height. The branches are very thin in spite of the trunk that instead is very robust.
Excellent to create a corner in perfect oriental style, the Radermachera should be grown with a watering not too abundant: in summer it is sufficient to water it once a week, only if the soil is dry; in winter the watering must be further reduced. Water can be vaporized on the foliage. In any case the Radermachera loves bright places but away from direct sun, with temperatures between 18 and 22 ° C. It can be fertilized in vegetative period, every 2 weeks, with fertilizer for green plants. The ideal soil is draining and rich in organic matter.
