Sophisticated, original and refined, the Albuca is a succulent plant of South African origin. The Latin name is derived from the spiral shape of its leaves and white flowers. The most interesting element is constituted by the leaves, long and curled, that have given nicknames such as plant corkscrew or helicopter. A typical feature of the Albuca Spiralis is the fragrance of vanilla butter emanating from the flowers that show green petals faded in yellow. To cultivate it, you must have the small attentions, first of all to maintain the dry plant in the spring and summer, when it is sleepy. From autumn to winter, however, it needs water every two weeks. Like every succulent plant loves the sun but not the light direct: place it in a sunny corner, and get a stylish space that everyone will envy.
