Globe species that very often is embedded in the "Rebutia" hook. Very similar to some species of Echinocactus, it grows lonely with ribs divided into tubercles. It flowers in early summer with yellow-orange flowers. Over time, it produces numerous basal pollen, giving rise to small groups of plants. Its thorns are pretty dense and thin.

Exposure and brightness: It can be placed in half shade or full sun; It is good, however, not to expose it to precipitation especially in winter.

Temperature: It also supports temperatures up to -5 ° C for short periods.

Soil type: Needed of well drained soil: ideal is a substrate mix between perlite sand and universal soil. It is recommended to insert lapla or expanded clay on the bottom of the jar, together with peat and zeolite.

Irrigation: From April to September every 3-4 days, only to dry soil.
