This cactus, which grows on limestone hills between 1000 and 2300 mt of altitude, is highly appreciated for its blue-grayish color contrasting with yellowish spines. Spherical initially develops, then changes in classical barrel form, but often cultivates pollen forming groups. It flowers when it reaches about 30 cm in diameter. A unique feature of this plant is the production of juicy fruits of white color that make it very attractive and exclusive.

Exposure and brightness: It can be positioned in the sun.

Temperature: It can withstand temperatures up to -5 / -6 ° C, while it does not pose a problem with high temperatures as it originates in Mexico.
