The succulent that looks like a fern: Ephypillum with coconut fiber jar!

Ephypillum anguliger is a succulent plant of the cactaceae family, native to Mexico. The peculiarity of this kind of plants is that they do not possess branches and the flowers grow directly from the stem of the leaves: hence its name, which means "above the leaf". Its jagged edges make it similar to other plants like some ferns, but it differs precisely because it is a succulent one: if we look closely its leaves are thick and waxy. The flowers of this Ephiphyllum are very showy and usually white in color. In the coconut fiber pot the Japanese technique of hanging the plants inside a "ball" of soil revives in modern form. The container is in fact completely natural and biodegradable, as well as the internal waterproof jar. The rope will allow you to hang it anywhere in your home creating a green corner that will impress anyone.
Unlike other cacti, this Ephiphyllum is a plant that lives well with a lot of humidity: it is necessary to irrigate it regularly, especially during the growth period (spring-summer) and make sure the soil is never completely dry (just touch it with your fingers) .
Love the areas of half shade or never in direct sunlight, and well aired. If the temperatures do not exceed 25 ° the plant resists well: this is often grown in the apartment.
With this coconut fiber vase, the Ephiphyllum anguliger will make a fantastic figure!
